San Francisco, officially the City and County of San Francisco, is the leading financial and cultural center of Northern California and the San Francisco Bay Area.
The only consolidated city-county in California, it encompasses a land area of about 46.9 square miles on the northern end of the San Francisco Peninsula, giving it a density of about 17,179 people per square mile (6,632 people per km).

About LAS Principal Walter Armer

Walter Armer has more than 20 years of real estate experience, including acquisitions, dispositions, ground-up development, asset management, and equity and debt structuring. He has directed transactions and developments totaling nearly $1 billion dollars.

Prior to joining LANDCO Advisory Services, Walter served for two years in a principal role with LR Global Realty Capital, a subsidiary of LR Global, a private equity platform investing in Frontier Asia. Before this, Walter spent six years with SNK Development as Vice President of Development where he managed the firm’s San Francisco Bay Area projects. Additionally, Walter managed real estate activities for two family offices, spearheading acquisitions, development, and asset management for portfolios across the US. Walter also worked for Trammel Crow (and for a partnership involving Trammel Crow International) in San Francisco and Jakarta, Indonesia, respectively.

Walter received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and his Master of Business Administration from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College, Wellesley, Massachusetts.

About LAS Principal Marc Kahn

Marc Kahn has more than 40 years of practice in all aspects of the real estate business, including acquisitions, dispositions, mortgage finance, development, management, and brokerage.

Prior to his association with LANDCO Advisory Services, Marc was employed by the Manhattan Mortgage Company and Skyscraper Mortgage Consultants. During this time, he also taught a seminar entitled “The Elements of Mortgage Finance” to real estate brokers in New York.

Marc is an attorney licensed to practice in New York. As such during his career he has engaged in all aspects of real estate conveyancing, finance, and litigation.

Marc holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University where he majored in history and minored in English, and a Juris Doctorate degree from Boston University.
